We asked them to share their pain points, perceived truths and uncertainties and what they would like to improve.

What aspect of patient recruitment causes you the most pain?

1. Budget: there is no basis for comparison.
2. Site Selection: perplexing cultural issues.
3. Earlier qualification (or disqualification) of potential participants.
4. Teams wait too long to plan: always reactive.
5. Lack of “non-US thinking”: no information on planning recruitment in other countries.
6. Differences between study design and standard of care for the disease or condition.
